LEUSD Board Meeting
Governing Board meetings are held for the purpose of setting or amending district policies, acting on recommendations by the Superintendent on matters such as personnel changes, educational programs, maintenance and operations, the operating and facilities budgets, student services, and the spending of budgeted funds.

The Governing Board welcomes public comments related to General Session items.

A total of 30 minutes is provided so members of the public can address the Governing Board. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes and should be confined to those items listed on the request. Unless an item has been placed on the published agenda in accordance with the Brown Act, there shall be no action taken, nor should there be comments on, responses to, or discussion of a topic not on the agenda. The Board members may: (1) acknowledge receipt of information; (2) refer matter to staff with no direction as to action or priority; or (3) refer the matter to the next agenda.

REQUESTS FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING VIA EMAIL TO judiel.sanchez@leusd.k12.ca.us at least two hours prior to the start of the board meeting.
